Celebrate World Swallowtail Day 2025 at Wheatfen with the Ted Ellis Trust and Butterfly Conservation.
Enjoy a self-led walk on the special Swallowtail trail to learn more about and spot these magnificent butterflies, with knowledgable volunteers stationed along the trail at various points to help you out.
Wellies strongly recommended. Refreshments and plants for sale (cash only).
Free admission but donations welcome. Booking essential for all participants.
There are five time slots throughout the day at 9.00am, 10.30am, 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm. Limited places available, please book your preferred slot using the link below.
